  • Lynda Jackson

    YOGA INSTRUCTOR

Her story on the mat begins in Manchester, England. In her mid twenties, she enjoyed contemporary dance. In order to improve flexibility, she was recommended to try yoga. Realizing the benefits far extended beyond the physical, she has continued her practice throughout the years. “I’m grateful for the excellent yoga teachers I’ve had along the way,” she says.

In 1981 Lynda moved to Berkeley, California. “I was only going to be in Berkeley for a year, but ended up staying a lot longer!” In Berkeley, she attended classes at The Yoga Room and later began their teacher training.

Lynda has lived in Susanville, California since 1989 where she appreciates the rural lifestyle, clean air, and all the outdoors has to offer. She has taught locally since the early 90’s as a schoolteacher and yoga instructor. She attended the 2017/2018 Advanced Study Teacher Training Program at Yoga Loka in Reno, Nevada, and became a Registered Yoga Instructor (RYT 200) through Yoga Alliance in 2019.
For almost 50 years now, yoga has been part of her life. “Most days, the first thing I do when I get out of bed in the morning is get on the mat.”

“I provide a safe, relaxed environment for learning and practicing yoga and encourage transferring skills learned on the mat to everyday habits. With student permission, I offer individual adjustments and suggest the use of props as needed to access a pose safely.”

  • Ellie Oberton

    YOGA INSTRUCTOR

Ellie describes her style as gentle, uplifting and at times invigorating.
